Basic info

• Decode METAR/TAF and use prog charts to make a go/no-go
• Plan a VFR cross-country (WCA, GS, fuel, alternates)
• Brief airspace & ATC phraseology; avoid runway incursions
• Compute W&B and performance from the POH
• Recognize stall/spin risk and apply proper recovery
• Pass the FAA Private Pilot Knowledge Test with confidence

Course requirements

• Basic math and willingness to study
• POH for your training aircraft, E6-B or calculator (recommended)
• Internet access for videos/updates

Intended audience

• New pilots training for the Private Pilot (ASEL)
