Course Notice & Policies
This course prepares you for the FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot knowledge test and provides best-practice guidance for small UAS operations. Training content is educational; you are responsible for complying with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and flying safely at all times.

Regulatory compliance. Always verify current FAA rules before flight. Obtain required airspace authorizations (e.g., LAANC) when operating in controlled airspace. Maintain appropriate records and operate within manufacturer limitations.

Testing center fee. The PSI testing-center fee (typically ~$175) is paid directly to PSI and is not included in course tuition.

Certification process. After passing the exam, complete your application in IACRA to receive your temporary certificate; a permanent card will be mailed by the FAA.
